Andaman Tour Packages from Hyderabad

Hyderabad is one of the easier cities to start an Andaman holiday from. A daily non-stop IndiGo flight from Hyderabad to Port Blair takes roughly 2 hours 40 minutes, which means you can land in the morning and still start your first day. Andaman tour packages from Hyderabad are priced as a land package from Port Blair, with flights added on top, because our standard packages do not include airfare.

For a first visit from Hyderabad, plan on:

• Land package: ₹18,125 to ₹28,750 per adult before 5% GST on double sharing, depending on 4 to 7 nights.
• Flights: about ₹22,000 to ₹40,000 per person return, depending on how early you book. Cheap one-way fares were around ₹11,000 in early October 2026.
• All-in for a couple on 5 nights: about ₹1.15 to ₹1.6 lakh. For a family of four on 6 nights: about ₹2.4 to ₹3.3 lakh.

Fare trackers disagree on the exact numbers (one page quotes cheapest fares between about ₹9,100 and ₹11,800 for the same dates), so treat these as a planning guide and check live fares.

Booking tips

• Book one to two months ahead. The tracker says this saves about ₹4,000 against the typical fare.
• Fly mid-week if your dates allow. The tracker names Tuesday in one place and Wednesday in another as cheapest.
• Check the return time before you book, so the last day of the package fits your flight home.
• Allow for baggage fees, which low fares often leave out.

The land package is the same from every city, because it starts at Port Blair airport. What changes from Hyderabad is the flight you add. These are starting prices per adult on double sharing, with 5% GST and an example return flight for one adult.

Prices are "from" figures for the standard hotel category and a date outside the busiest weeks. Higher hotel categories (up to 4 Star Royal), peak dates, and children's charges change the quote. Lunch and dinner, water activities and gala dinner supplements are not included. Because the flight is short and direct, a Hyderabad trip can use almost every night of the package. All four plans use the same Port Blair, Havelock and Neil loop with three ferry crossings.

Our view for Hyderabad travellers: 5 nights is the first-visit default, and 6 nights if you want Elephant Beach and a day without a ferry. The Andaman season runs October to May, with November to April the most popular stretch. Port Blair's long-term rainfall is about 14 mm in February and under 50 mm in January and March, against 448 to 505 mm a month from June to September, when rain can disrupt ferries and water sports.

From Hyderabad, fares add a second reason to plan carefully:

• October and November: early season, with fares among the lowest on the tracker we used.
• February and March: dry weather, and the tracker listed fares from about ₹10,000 one way for 2027.
• December: dry, but one tracker shows fares rising to about ₹13,000 to ₹14,000, and hotels add supplements. Gala dinner supplements apply on 24 and 31 December, and peak-season room supplements can apply.
• June to September: rainy season. Fares vary by tracker, and another source puts June as the cheapest month for round trips, but weather risk is high.

Passenger ships run to Port Blair from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is the closest of the three to Hyderabad, but you still have to get there first.

• Voyage: guides quote about 56 hours from Visakhapatnam, and 50 to 70 hours across the three routes.
• Frequency: one source says about one sailing a month from Visakhapatnam, others say 3 to 4. Check the schedule, because it fixes your dates.
• Fares: one-way fares from ₹2,290 (Bunk) to ₹10,240 (Deluxe) were listed in a February 2025 guide. Confirm the current tariff.
• Ship type: a government passenger ship, not a leisure liner.

From Hyderabad, a ship only makes sense if you have around two weeks, want the voyage as part of the trip and can match the sailing calendar. For a normal 4 to 7 night holiday, the daily non-stop flight is simpler. Ask us if you want a land package fitted around a sailing date.

• Fix the flights first, then the package. Package nights start on arrival, so quote both together and match the dates.
• Early departures. The schedule we saw had the non-stop leaving Hyderabad at 06:15, so plan the airport trip the evening before and keep documents ready.
• Arrival day. With a morning arrival, our packages start with airport pickup, Corbyn's Cove, Cellular Jail and the evening Light and Sound Show. Ferries and tides can change the order, so we plan around them.
• Photo ID. Carry a government-issued photo ID for every traveller. It is needed for ferries.
• Return day. Leave a buffer, because weather can delay ferries and boats, and do not tie your flight home to a ferry morning.
• Baggage. Low fares often leave out checked baggage. Check the allowance, since ferries also carry luggage in a separate compartment.
• Pack for humidity. Light clothing, swimwear, a spare set for Radhanagar and water for quiet beaches.

Cancellation. Charges on the land cost are 25% at 30 or more days before departure, 50% at 15 to 29 days and 100% under 15 days. Because flights are a separate booking with their own airline rules, book them with the cancellation terms in mind. Standard itineraries can be booked with a 10% deposit if travel is 30 or more days away; nearer departures need full payment.
