Day 1

Arrive in Port Blair, Corbyn’s Cove and Cellular Jail

Our representative will meet you outside Port Blair airport and take you to your hotel. Settle in and take a little time to rest before heading out for your first look at the islands.

At Corbyn’s Cove Beach, walk beside the water beneath coconut palms and feel the pace of the holiday begin to slow. Later, visit Cellular Jail. As you pass through its corridors, you’ll learn about the people held here during India’s freedom struggle. Stay for the evening Light & Sound Show, when their stories are told against the backdrop of the jail.

Overnight in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram).

Good to know: Vehicles stop at the designated parking area near Cellular Jail. The entrance is approximately a 200-metre walk from there.

After breakfast, head to the jetty and set out by boat across the water. Your first stop is North Bay Island, where you can enjoy the coastal scenery or choose an optional water activity. Snorkelling, scuba diving and glass-bottom boat rides may be available at an additional cost, subject to local conditions.

Continue to Ross Island, officially Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island. Follow paths through tropical greenery to old brick buildings from its time as a British administrative centre. Tree roots wind around the remains, giving the island a quiet, distinctive atmosphere. Return by boat to Port Blair after your visit.

Day 3

Travel by inter-island ferry to Havelock, Kala Pathar and Radhanagar Beach

This morning, board your inter-island ferry to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Watch the sea and islands pass by before our representative meets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel.

Later, visit Kala Pathar Beach, where dark rocks, green trees and blue water meet along a peaceful shore. Then head to Radhanagar Beach. Take off your shoes for a walk on its long stretch of pale sand, find a place to relax, or enjoy the water if conditions are suitable. With another night on Havelock ahead, you can take your time here.

Overnight on Havelock Island.

Good to know: An early inter-island ferry may mean a packed breakfast from the hotel. Carry a change of clothes if you plan to enter the water at Radhanagar Beach.

Day 4

Boat Trip to Elephant Beach

After breakfast, take a boat to Elephant Beach. Look back towards Havelock’s green coastline as you travel across the water, then spend time enjoying the beach and its marine setting.

You can relax on shore or ask about activities operating that day. Water sports and guided marine activities are optional and depend on sea conditions, availability and additional payment. Later, return to your resort for a relaxed evening on Havelock.

Overnight on Havelock Island.

Good to know: Bring drinking water, light snacks, sun protection and a change of clothes. Any introductory snorkelling offered by the boat operator is subject to its arrangements and is not guaranteed.

Day 5

After breakfast, travel by inter-island ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). Our representative will meet you and take you to your resort before you head out to explore.

Begin at Bharatpur Beach, where you can spend time by the water or choose an optional glass-bottom boat ride. Later, visit the Natural Coral Bridge when the tide allows. Walk carefully over the exposed rocky shore and look into the shallow tidal pools around the formation.

As the afternoon fades, make your way to Laxmanpur Beach. Settle on the sand and watch the colours change across the sea at sunset.

Overnight on Neil Island.

Enjoy breakfast before taking the inter-island ferry back to Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram). After your transfer to the hotel, the rest of the day is open.

You might choose to rest after the island crossings or browse the local markets for souvenirs. It is a useful pause in your Andaman itinerary for 8 days before tomorrow’s early journey to Baratang.

Baratang Island and the Limestone Caves

⌖ Port Blair 🍽 Meals: Breakfast

The day begins very early, usually with departure from Port Blair around 2:30–3:00 a.m., so you can join the regulated convoy through the protected reserve area. Watch the landscape change as the road leaves the town behind and enters dense forest. Travel through this area follows strict rules: photography and contact with the Indigenous communities are prohibited.

At Middle Strait, cross by vehicle ferry to Baratang. From the jetty, a boat takes you through winding mangrove waterways towards the Limestone Caves. After the boat ride, continue to the caves and see the natural formations shaped over time. Retrace the route to Port Blair later in the day.

Overnight in Port Blair.

Good to know: This is a long travel day with an early start. Convoy timing, ferry crossings and access to the caves depend on local permissions and operating conditions.

Departure from Port Blair

After breakfast, we’ll take you to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your onward flight. Your 7 nights 8 days Andaman package ends with memories of historic Port Blair, days beside the sea on Havelock and Neil Island, and the mangrove journey to Baratang.

Ferry schedules, tides, weather and local permissions may change the order or timing of visits.

Hotel names will be provided after booking, subject to availability and confirmation. We do not hold hotel confirmations before booking.

Inclusions

  1. Seven nights’ accommodation in the confirmed hotel category: four nights in Port Blair, two on Havelock Island and one on Neil Island.
  2. Daily breakfast from Day 2 to Day 8.
  3. Airport pickup and drop in Port Blair, with local arrival and departure assistance on the islands.
  4. Scheduled sightseeing and transfers by private air-conditioned vehicle as described in the itinerary. The vehicle is provided for scheduled services and is not at disposal throughout the day.
  5. Base-category inter-island ferry travel on Port Blair → Havelock → Neil Island → Port Blair.
  6. Scheduled boat excursions to North Bay and Ross Island, and the Elephant Beach visit.
  7. The scheduled Baratang Island day trip, including the Middle Strait crossing and boat journey towards the Limestone Caves.

Exclusions

  1. Flights to and from Port Blair.
  2. Lunch, dinner and breakfast on the arrival day.
  3. Scuba diving, sea walking, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, banana boat rides and other optional water activities unless expressly included in your booking confirmation.
  4. Personal expenses such as shopping, laundry, tips, camera fees and medical costs.
  5. Vehicle use for personal outings or meals outside the scheduled Andaman itinerary for 8 days.
  6. Additional sightseeing, room upgrades or services not listed in the confirmed inclusions.
  7. Peak-season room supplements and mandatory gala dinner charges unless already included in the final price shown at booking.
  8. Additional costs arising from flight changes, disrupted ferries, weather or circumstances beyond the scheduled package arrangements.

Important Terms

  1. Your final quote will show the travel dates, hotel category, room arrangement, traveller details, price and included services before payment.
  2. Full payment is required to confirm a standard package booking through Dreamland Vacations’ secure online payment option.
  3. Payment starts the booking process. Your hotels, ferries and other required services are confirmed when we issue written confirmation. If a requested service is unavailable, we will discuss a suitable alternative and any price difference with you before confirming it.
  4. Ferry times, convoy schedules, tides, weather and local permissions can affect the order or timing of sightseeing. We will share the confirmed travel details and vouchers before departure.
  5. Each traveller must carry valid government-issued photo identification and arrive in time for scheduled flights, ferries and pickups.

Please send any cancellation request to Dreamland Vacations in writing. Charges on the land package cost depend on when we receive your request:

  1. 30 or more days before departure: 25% of the land package cost.
  2. 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the land package cost.
  3. Fewer than 15 days before departure: 100% of the land package cost.

Flights and separately booked services follow the cancellation terms shown in their own booking confirmations. Any refund due will be calculated after applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable third-party costs are confirmed.

If weather, ferry operations or local restrictions prevent a scheduled visit, we will first work with the local team to arrange a feasible alternative. We will advise you of any refund available under the affected service’s terms.

What the Baratang day adds, and who this package suits

What the Baratang day adds. Compared with the 6 nights 7 days package, the extra night gives you a different kind of day. You leave Port Blair around 2:30 to 3:00 a.m. to join the regulated convoy through the protected reserve, cross Middle Strait on a vehicle ferry, then take a boat through winding mangrove waterways towards the Limestone Caves. You return to Port Blair later in the day.

Who it suits

  1. Travellers who have a week and want something beyond beaches, such as mangroves and caves.
  2. Couples and groups of friends who are comfortable with a long road day.
  3. Families with older children who can cope with an early start and a full day of travel.
  4. Anyone who wants the full Port Blair, Havelock and Neil loop with two nights on Havelock and a longer trip on top.

What to know before you choose it

  1. A very early, long day. Day 7 starts in the middle of the night, so it may not suit young children or travellers who find long road journeys hard. If anyone in your group will struggle, discuss it with us before booking. The day can be skipped, but a refund or credit does not apply.
  2. Strict rules in the reserve. Photography and contact with the Indigenous communities are prohibited, and the convoy follows set timings.
  3. Permissions decide the day. Convoy timing, the ferry crossing and access to the caves depend on local permissions and operating conditions.
  4. Port Blair-heavy. Four of the seven nights are in Port Blair; Neil Island is a single night.
  5. Ferries on three days. The island crossings are Day 3 (to Havelock), Day 5 (to Neil) and Day 6 (back to Port Blair). Baratang adds a vehicle ferry and a boat on Day 7.
  6. Meals. Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are not.
  7. Land package. Flights are not included. We can quote flights separately.
