It is written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as they apply to us.
1. Personal data we collect
- Enquiry and contact details: name, mobile number, email address, city, and the travel details you share (destination, dates, number of travellers, children's ages, budget, preferences and messages). We may verify your mobile number and email with a one-time code.
- Booking details: names, dates of birth or ages, gender where a supplier requires it, and copies of passports, PAN cards, visas or other identity documents needed for hotels, transport, visas or tax compliance (for example TCS on overseas packages).
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay and PayU). We receive the payment status, amount, transaction reference and limited details such as the payment method. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV or net-banking password.
- Special requirements: dietary, mobility or medical needs you choose to tell us so that we can arrange your trip. Please share only what is needed.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the website or advertisement that brought you to us (for example a search engine, social media or AI assistant), and similar usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your data
- to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and itineraries, and contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your trip;
- to make and manage bookings with hotels, resorts, transport and activity providers, ground handlers, airlines and other travel suppliers, and to issue vouchers and invoices;
- to help with visa applications and travel documents when you ask us to;
- to take payments, issue refunds, prevent fraud and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements;
- to improve our website, measure which pages and advertisements work, and show relevant advertising;
- to send you offers and travel updates, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share only the data needed for the purpose:
- Travel suppliers in India and abroad that provide the services you book (hotels, resorts, transport, ferries, cruises, guides, attractions, airlines and local partners). Suppliers outside India handle your data under the laws of their country.
- Embassies, consulates and visa processing centres when you ask us to help with a visa.
- Payment gateways and banks to process payments and refunds.
- Service providers who host our website and systems or send messages for us, under confidentiality obligations.
- Analytics and advertising services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Yandex Metrica, which receive technical and usage data through cookies or similar technologies.
- Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and browser storage to keep the site working, remember where a visit came from so that an enquiry is recorded correctly, measure visits, and measure and personalise advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as enquiry forms, may then not work fully.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and booking, payment and tax records for as long as Indian law requires (usually up to 8 years). Copies of passports and identity documents are kept only as long as needed for the booking, visa and legal requirements, and are then deleted.
6. Security
We use reasonable security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, so please do not send card details or passwords to us by email or WhatsApp.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent to marketing, or nominate another person to exercise your rights. Some data must be kept to complete a booking or to meet legal requirements. To make a request, contact our Grievance Officer below.
