Andaman Nicobar Tour Packages from Ahmedabad

Our Andaman land packages from Ahmedabad start at ₹18,125 per adult on double sharing (GST extra) for 4 nights and 5 days, and ₹20,000 for 5 nights and 6 days. You fly to Port Blair on a connecting flight, because no airline is confirmed to fly Ahmedabad to Port Blair non-stop. Plan roughly ₹24,000 to ₹45,000 per person for the return flight, and 5 or 6 nights for a first visit.

• Package price: ₹18,125 to ₹28,750 per adult for 4 to 7 nights, before 5% GST. Flights are not included.
• Flights: one stop, usually via Mumbai, Bengaluru or Chennai. The cheapest one-way fare seen is about ₹12,003.
• Best length: 5 or 6 nights, which cover Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island.
• Best season: October to May, with November to April the most popular.
• Nicobar: the Nicobar Islands are not part of these packages. Access is restricted, so confirm with the authorities before planning anything there.

Expect one stop. Skyscanner's route page says no airline currently offers a direct Ahmedabad to Port Blair flight, though its own deals list labels a few Akasa Air fares "Direct". Treat that label with caution and check the itinerary on the airline's booking page before paying. The airlines listed are Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo and Akasa Air. The page suggests Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai as likely stopovers, and gives no flight duration.

• Cheapest one-way: ₹12,003 per person, Air India, one stop
• Best return estimate: ₹22,809
• Return fares for next month: from ₹26,894

The lowest one-way fare found for each month is below. These are the cheapest dates, not typical prices.

For planning, use ₹24,000 to ₹45,000 per person return. The low end matches the return estimates above. The high end allows for peak dates and late bookings.

Booking tips

• Book 21 to 45 days ahead where you can. Last-minute fares can be 40 to 60% higher.
• Avoid Diwali and school-holiday weeks if your dates are flexible.
• Leave a buffer on both ends, because a missed connection can cost you a hotel night.

Prices are per adult on double sharing, for the 2-star Standard hotel category, and do not include flights. All four plans have three ferry crossings. Hotel names are given after booking.

Land package prices per adult for two adults sharing one room. GST extra; flights and optional extras are excluded unless the itinerary says otherwise. Check your selected dates for the final amount.

Higher hotel categories cost more: 3-star (Standard, Deluxe, Premium) and 4-star (Standard, Deluxe, Premium, Royal). Your quotation shows the exact price for the category you choose. Some pages on our site show slightly different rates for the 6 and 7 night plans, so treat the quotation as the final price.

A 5-night trip for two costs about ₹1.19 to ₹1.72 lakh including flights. The package is a published price. Flights use the range above, and meals, activities and extras are our own planning allowances, not quoted prices.

The couple's package is 2 adults at ₹21,000 (5% GST included). The family of four is priced with the two children at adult rates, which is the upper bound. Child rates are shown in your quotation. Water activities such as scuba and snorkelling are the biggest variable, so decide which you want before comparing quotes.

For a first trip from Ahmedabad, pick 5 or 6 nights. Flying with a connection eats into your first and last day, so the extra night matters more than it would on a direct route.

• 4 nights / 5 days: the shortest plan. Two nights in Port Blair, then one each in Havelock and Neil. Good if leave is tight, but a late connecting arrival leaves little time in Port Blair.
• 5 nights / 6 days: three nights in Port Blair add a full day for Ross Island and North Bay. A good fit for a first trip.
• 6 nights / 7 days: two nights in Havelock, which gives the beaches more time. A slower pace than the 5-night plan.
• 7 nights / 8 days: adds Baratang. Choose it if you want a slower trip or already know you want the extra stop.

The Andaman season runs from October to May, and November to April is the most popular stretch. Rain is the main reason. Port Blair averages 48.9 mm in January and 14.2 mm in February (1991 to 2020 averages), against 407.2 mm in May, 484.2 mm in June and 505.2 mm in September. The Island Tourism Festival is held in January.

• October to November: lowest fares of the season, but check the weather close to your dates, as October still sees rain (300.9 mm).
• December to February: dry, and the busiest weeks are around Christmas and New Year. Gala dinner supplements apply on 24 and 31 December.
• March to May: fares rise through April and May, and rain builds towards May.
• June to September: the monsoon. Weather can disrupt flights, ferries and boat trips, and heavy rain is common.

Our package prices cover the land arrangements only, so you book the flights, or ask us to quote them separately. The order that avoids problems:

1. Ask for a quotation on the enquiry page with your preferred dates and say you are travelling from Ahmedabad.
2. Confirm the hotel category and the plan, then check the flight options for those dates.
3. Book flights that land in Port Blair with time to spare for the first day's plan, and keep a buffer on the way home.
4. Send us your flight details so the airport pickup and drop are arranged around them.

If you pay by deposit, standard bookings can be secured with 10% when travel is 30 or more days away. Otherwise full payment is due.

Mainland ships to Port Blair sail from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam, and take roughly 50 to 70 hours each way. None leave from Ahmedabad, so you would first have to reach one of those ports, which is a long way from Gujarat. For most Ahmedabad travellers the flight is the practical choice.

• First class: ₹7,240 to ₹8,490
• Deluxe: ₹10,240

Sources disagree on how often ships sail and how tickets are booked, so confirm both with the shipping authority before planning around a ship. No leisure cruise liner is confirmed to call at Port Blair.

Between the islands, government ferries cost about ₹90 to ₹160 per crossing, and private ferries (Makruzz, Nautika, Green Ocean) run about ₹950 to ₹3,100. Our packages include government-operated ferries in the booked base class.

This follows our 5 nights / 6 days island escape: three nights in Port Blair, one in Havelock, one in Neil.

• Day 1, Port Blair. Your connecting flight lands, you are met at the airport and taken to the hotel. If you arrive early enough, the plan is Corbyn's Cove beach, Cellular Jail and the evening Light and Sound Show.
• Day 2, North Bay and Ross Island. Boat excursions from Port Blair.
• Day 3, Havelock. Government ferry across, then Kalapathar and Radhanagar beach.
• Day 4, Neil. Ferry to Neil, with Bharatpur, the Natural Coral Bridge and Laxmanpur.
• Day 5, back to Port Blair. Ferry back and a free evening.
• Day 6, departure. Drop at the airport for your flight home via Mumbai, Bengaluru or Chennai.

If your connection lands late: the Cellular Jail visit and the evening show may not fit on Day 1. Tell us your flight times when you enquire, and we will say how the first day can be rearranged. For the return, keep a buffer between the Port Blair departure and any onward connection.
