Snow on the peaks in July, a train that climbs inside a mountain to a glacier, lakes so clear they look painted, and a small town where cars are not allowed. Our Switzerland tour packages from India are planned so that you see the country properly: Jungfraujoch, Mt. Titlis, Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt and the Rhine Falls, with comfortable hotels, Indian meals, coach transfers and a tour manager from India.
Choose a 7-night Switzerland-only tour that covers the whole country, or combine Switzerland with Paris, London, Amsterdam or Italy on our group tours. - Indian meals: Indian lunches and dinners on most days of our group tours, with vegetarian and Jain food on request.
- Mountain excursions: the famous high-altitude trips, such as Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis, are included in the tour price on the tours that visit them, so you do not pay for these expensive tickets separately.

Not included: international flights, the Schengen visa fee, travel insurance, city taxes paid at some hotels, GST and TCS. Inclusions differ a little between tours, so check each tour page. Read how our Europe group tours work.
The Switzerland highlights on our tours
Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe
A cogwheel railway climbs through the Eiger and Mönch mountains to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at 3,454 metres. At the top you walk through the Ice Palace, step out onto the snow plateau and look down on the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in the Alps and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the highlight of most Switzerland trips. Read our Jungfraujoch guide.
Lucerne and Mt. Titlis
Lucerne is the postcard Swiss town: the wooden Chapel Bridge across the River Reuss, the Lion Monument and a lake ringed by mountains. Nearby, the revolving Rotair cable car carries you up Mt. Titlis, where you can walk on a glacier, cross the Titlis Cliff Walk and play in the snow in any season. See our Lucerne and Rhine Falls guide.
Interlaken and the Bollywood Alps
Interlaken sits between two turquoise lakes, Thun and Brienz, below the snowy Jungfrau. Indian film lovers will recognise many of the meadows and villages of the Bernese Oberland from Yash Chopra's films, and there is a statue of the director in Interlaken.
Zermatt and the Matterhorn
Zermatt is a car-free village of wooden chalets below the Matterhorn, at 4,478 metres one of the most famous mountains in the world. Visitors arrive by train, and electric taxis glide through the streets. Read our Zermatt and Matterhorn guide.
Rhine Falls, Lake Geneva and Bern
The Rhine Falls near Zurich are the largest plain waterfall in Europe, and a boat takes you right up to the spray. On Lake Geneva, Montreux and Geneva have a gentler, French-speaking feel, and Bern, the capital, has a medieval old town of arcades and fountains.
Switzerland honeymoon packages
Switzerland is one of the most popular honeymoon destinations for Indian couples, and for good reason: lakeside towns, mountain villages, scenic trains and snow in every season. Our Sound of Swiss tour gives couples a full week in the Alps, with Jungfraujoch, Mt. Titlis, a Lake Lucerne cruise, the GoldenPass train to Montreux and a day in Zermatt.
On request, we can add room upgrades, a lake-view hotel or an extra night in Lucerne, Interlaken or Zermatt, at extra cost. Couples who prefer to travel without a group can ask us for a private Switzerland honeymoon itinerary.

Switzerland family tour packages
Switzerland is safe, clean and easy to travel with children and grandparents. Our group tours take care of hotels, meals and transport, so parents can relax, and the days balance big excursions with time to rest. Children love the snow on Mt. Titlis, the chocolate at the Lindt Home of Chocolate and the boat to the Rhine Falls.
Jungfraujoch and Titlis are high, so walk slowly at the top, drink water and wear warm layers; anyone with heart or breathing problems, and families with infants, should check with a doctor before the high-altitude days. Child prices depend on age and the room arrangement, so tell us the ages when you ask for a quote.
Switzerland group tour packages
Our Switzerland group tours run on fixed departure dates with a tour manager and fellow travellers from India. This season, our Christmas and New Year tours combine Switzerland with Paris, Italy and other countries, including the Paris & Switzerland Christmas Tour, the 8-country New Year tour and the Paris, Switzerland & Italy tour. Summer 2027 departures will be added after New Year.
Group tours are usually the most economical way to see Switzerland, because hotels, excursions and meals are bought at group rates. See all our Europe group tours and read about Christmas in Europe.
Switzerland tour package from Delhi and Mumbai
Our Switzerland tour packages are land packages, so they start and end in Europe and you can fly from any Indian city. Swiss International Air Lines flies nonstop to Zurich from Delhi and from Mumbai, in about eight and a half to nine and a half hours, and there are many one-stop routes through the Gulf and Europe from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
We can quote your Switzerland tour package from Delhi or from Mumbai with flights included, timed to meet the tour on the first day. Tell us your city, dates and the number of travellers.
Switzerland tour package price
Switzerland is one of Europe's more expensive countries, and the price of a tour depends on the season, the number of nights, the countries combined and the exchange rate. This season, our Christmas and New Year group tours that include Switzerland start from about ₹2.1 lakh per person, twin sharing, land only, with GST and TCS extra. Prices on each tour page are updated daily at our selling exchange rate.
To work out the full trip cost, add return flights, the Schengen visa, insurance and your shopping. Our Switzerland trip cost from India guide breaks this down for a solo traveller and for a couple, and our Europe trip cost from India guide covers multi-country tours.
Best time to visit Switzerland
June to September is summer, with green meadows, open mountain passes and long days, and it is the most popular time for Indian travellers. December to March brings snow-covered villages, Christmas markets and skiing, while April, May, October and November are quieter, with lower prices and changeable weather. Snow is guaranteed all year at Jungfraujoch and on Mt. Titlis. See our guide to the best time to visit Switzerland.
Visa for Switzerland
Switzerland is part of the Schengen area, so Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa. If Switzerland is the main destination of your trip, you apply to the Swiss embassy, usually through its visa centre; on multi-country tours, you apply to the country where you spend the most nights. We provide the tour documents you need for the application. Read our Schengen visa guide for Indians and our guide to currency in Europe, as Switzerland uses the Swiss franc, not the euro.
