Spend Christmas and New Year in Europe on one of our five escorted group tours, departing between 22 and 24 December 2026. Every tour starts in Paris, includes a professional tour manager, superior hotels and Indian meals, and celebrates the season with a Christmas gala dinner, or Christmas and New Year's Eve gala dinners on the longer tours.

Europe in late December: what to expect
Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam are usually 2–8°C, with about eight hours of daylight; it is dark by around 5 pm. Swiss towns sit near freezing, and Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis are well below zero with snow. Venice, Florence and Rome are milder at around 5–13°C. Pack thermals, a warm coat, gloves and shoes with good grip.
City centres are lit up for the season, with Christmas markets, and Disneyland® Paris runs its Christmas shows. Some attractions close or shorten their hours on 25 December and 1 January, so tour managers may adjust the order of days around them. Every listed visit is still covered.

Frequently asked questions
Which tour lets me celebrate New Year's Eve in Europe?
European Highlights is in Rome on 31 December, and Exclusive Europe and Best of Europe are in Venice. Fascinating Europe and Beauty of Europe end on 31 and 30 December.
Are flights included?
No. All five are land tours that start at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and end in Zurich or Rome. Our team can quote flights from Delhi or your city separately.
When should I apply for the Schengen visa?
As early as possible. You can apply up to six months before travel, and visa appointments in India get busy before the December holidays.
Is Indian and Jain food included?
Yes. Lunches and dinners are Indian meals with Jain, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on most days, and breakfast is a continental buffet at the hotel.
Are these tours suitable for children and senior citizens?
Yes. Fascinating Europe and Beauty of Europe have the most relaxed pace and include Disneyland® Paris. Children below 12 years get child rates. Mountain excursions reach over 3,000 m, so travellers with health conditions should check with their doctor.
