Your holiday

A thoughtfully planned holiday experience.

Intro to Ladakh is our shortest Ladakh package, for travellers with only a long weekend or who want a first taste of Ladakh without changing hotels. You stay three nights in Leh and see the town, the Indus valley and Pangong Lake on day trips.

After a rest on arrival, you visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa in the evening. Day 2 is an excursion to Sham Valley: Likir and Alchi monasteries, the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Hall of Fame. Day 3 is the highlight, a full day to Pangong Lake over Chang La and back.

Breakfast and dinner, airport transfers, a private vehicle with oxygen for the Pangong day and permits are included. The Pangong day trip is long (about 10 to 11 hours), so if you have two more days, our 5-night Leh Ladakh package adds Nubra Valley and a night at the lake.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 3 nights enough for Ladakh?
It is enough for Leh, Sham Valley and a day trip to Pangong. For Nubra Valley and a night at Pangong, choose 5 nights or more.
Can we stay overnight at Pangong instead of a day trip?
Yes, we can change the itinerary to include a night at Pangong, which makes the day less tiring.
Is Pangong Lake open all year?
The lake can be visited all year, but camps operate roughly from May to October and roads can close briefly in winter snow.
Is airfare included?
No, the package starts and ends at Leh airport. We can quote flights from your city.
Do I need a permit for Pangong?
Yes, for the protected areas. Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong, Tso Moriri, Hanle and some other areas need a permit along with environment, wildlife and Red Cross fees. Rules for Indian citizens have been relaxed in recent years and change from time to time, so we arrange the permit or fee receipts for you; carry an original government photo ID.
