Your holiday

A thoughtfully planned holiday experience.

This is our classic Kuala Lumpur tour package, and the easiest way to see the best of Malaysia in a long weekend. You stay all three nights in one Kuala Lumpur hotel, so there is no packing and unpacking, and each day has one clear plan: arrive and relax, explore the city, then spend a full day in the mountains at Genting Highlands.

The city tour covers the King's Palace (Istana Negara), the National Monument, Independence Square, a drive past Parliament House, the Lake Gardens and the National Mosque, and a stop at the Chocolate Factory, a favourite with families for tastings and souvenirs. On the Genting day you stop at Batu Caves to see the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan and the 272 rainbow steps, then ride the two-way Awana SkyWay cable car up to the hilltop resort for shopping, food and indoor entertainment in the cool air.

Private transfers meet you at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and take you back on the last day, and daily breakfast is included. It suits first-time visitors, couples, families and senior citizens who want a relaxed Kuala Lumpur Genting 3 nights 4 days package. Want KL Tower too? Look at our Kuala Lumpur & Genting Family Escape. Want a full day of rides? The Malaysia Adventure adds a night in Genting with a SkyWorlds pass.

Why this Kuala Lumpur Genting package works

  • One hotel, three nights: stay in Kuala Lumpur throughout and visit Genting as a day trip, ideal for families with lots of luggage and for senior travellers.
  • A free first day: most flights from India land in the morning or early afternoon, so day 1 is kept free for rest, a walk to KLCC Park or dinner at Jalan Alor.
  • Batu Caves on the way: the caves are on the road to Genting, so you see Malaysia's most famous Hindu shrine without a separate trip.
  • Free evenings: enjoy the Petronas Twin Towers lights, Bukit Bintang shopping or a rooftop dinner at your own pace.

Make the most of your Kuala Lumpur trip

The city tour includes a photo stop at Independence Square and views of the city's landmarks; Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower tickets are not included, but we can add them, along with Aquaria KLCC, Sunway Lagoon or a Putrajaya tour. At Genting, theme park tickets and other paid attractions are optional, so you can choose how to spend your time at the top. Carry a light jacket for Genting, where it is often 15 to 22°C, and clothes that cover your shoulders and knees for Batu Caves. Flights are not included, so you can fly from Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi or any city with a Kuala Lumpur connection; we can quote flights separately. Hotels may collect Malaysia's tourism tax of RM 10 per room per night at check-in.
