Indonesia, starting with Bali
For most Indian travellers, an Indonesia holiday means Bali, and for good reason. The island mixes rice terraces and temples in Ubud, beach clubs and sunsets in Seminyak, cliff-top views in Uluwatu, and calm, clear water around Nusa Dua and the Gili islands. Flights from India usually connect through Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, and some cities have direct services.

When to visit Indonesia
April to October is Bali's dry season and the best time for beaches and sightseeing. July, August and the Diwali to New Year period are the busiest, with higher prices, so book those dates early.
