Choosing a honeymoon resort in Mauritius
- East coast (Belle Mare, Trou d'Eau Douce): long white beaches, calm lagoons and the closest base for Ile aux Cerfs. Best for a classic beach honeymoon.
- North (Grand Baie, Pereybere, Trou aux Biches): restaurants, shopping and nightlife within reach, and good value 4-star hotels.
- South-west (Le Morne, Flic en Flac): dramatic mountain views and the best sunsets on the island.
- Half board or all inclusive? Resort dinners in Mauritius are expensive, so half board (breakfast and dinner) usually saves money for couples. All inclusive suits couples who want drinks included.

How many days are enough for a Mauritius honeymoon?
5 nights is ideal: one day each for the North tour, the South tour and Ile aux Cerfs, plus two days to relax at your resort. 6 or 7 nights adds a catamaran cruise and more beach time.
How much does a Mauritius honeymoon cost from India?

Do Indian couples need a visa for Mauritius?
