Arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai and complete boarding formalities for your Deccan Odyssey journey. Settle into your cabin as the train begins its elegant voyage through Maharashtra and the western coast.
Arrive in Nashik, one of India’s important spiritual and wine regions. Begin with a walk along the Godavari Ghats, followed by a visit to Sula Vineyards. Enjoy a vineyard tour, learn about local grape varieties, and savour lunch at the vineyard before returning to the train.
Proceed to the magnificent Ellora Caves, carved into basalt hills near Aurangabad. Explore the ancient rock-cut temples and admire the artistry, scale, and spiritual heritage of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the train for lunch and enjoy the evening onboard.
Arrive near Ajanta and drive to the famous Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover beautiful rock-cut Buddhist caves known for their murals, sculptures, and ancient architecture. Later, return to the Deccan Odyssey and spend the rest of the day at leisure onboard.
Arrive in Kolhapur, a city known for royal history, temples, crafts, and traditional culture. Visit the New Palace Museum, explore local markets known for handcrafted Kolhapuri chappals, enjoy a cultural performance, and visit the historic Mahalakshmi Temple before returning to the train.
Arrive in Goa, famous for its beaches, churches, temples, and Portuguese-influenced heritage. Visit Fontainhas, enjoy lunch with a spice plantation experience, and spend some leisure time near the beach. Return to the Deccan Odyssey in the evening as the train continues towards Sawantwadi.
Arrive in Sawantwadi, known for traditional crafts, culture, and royal heritage. Visit Pinguli village and experience local art traditions, followed by a visit to Sawantwadi Palace for lunch. Later, return to the train for the final evening of your journey.
Arrive back in Mumbai, where your Deccan Odyssey journey comes to an end. Disembark with memories of royal rail travel, heritage sites, cultural experiences, and scenic destinations across Maharashtra and Goa.

No refund may be applicable for no-show, unused services, missed excursions, late arrival, or early departure.
